You mention the placement of the tombstone (see note 2). One should endeavor to determine what the custom is in the Holy Land. Does one wait a full year (see note 3) or not? If there is no established practice in the matter, or if several practices exist, there is no reason to delay the placement.
The Creator of the world, Who directs it, will grant you long days and good years. Always and every day, you will give only good news of yourself, your sons, and your grandchildren.

... במ"ש אודות הצבת מצבה, יש לברר המנהג בארץ הקדושה אם מחכים שנה שלימה או לא, ולנהוג כמנהג המקום, באם אין מנהג קבוע בזה או שיש מנהגים שונים, אין לאחר את ההקמה.
ובורא עולם ומנהיגו יאריך את ימי' ושנותיה' בטוב ותכה"י תבשר אך טוב בהנוגע לעצמה לבנים ובני בנים שיחיו.
