To the distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav Avraham Yehuda Leib (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

I received with pleasure your letter of 20 MarCheshvan*, the birthday of the Rebbe Rashab*. And it is known that on one's birthday, the person's mazal* is ascendant.

I have taken note therein of the strengthening of the study of Chassidus* and the added practice of reciting a chassidic* discourse during the third meal (see note 2), at the time of the "Will of all wills," which is also an auspicious moment, enabling one to "contemplate the radiance of the Small Countenance," since one then responds to the invitation: "Draw near to Me, behold My might" (see note 3).

Fortunate is the portion of those who participate in all this, and even more so of those who concentrate their efforts in this domain, "in the light of the countenance of the living King." And one can be assured that the Creator of the world, Who directs it, will fulfill, at that moment, His promise to "remove all the forces of evil, for the Will manifests itself without anything contradicting it."

Shabbos* blesses all the days of the week, and it will therefore be the same throughout the week. In this way, Shabbos* will be fully revealed here below.

ולקרות בו אודות חיזוק השיעור דא"ח וההוספה שיחזרו מאמר בזמן סעודה שלישית בעידנא דרעווא דרעווין ועת רצון ג"כ למחזי זיו דזעיר אנפין כשמקיימים ההזמנה דקריבו לי חזו חילי, ואשרי חלקם של כל אלו המשתתפים וביותר המשתדלים בכגון דא, כי באור פני מלך חיים, ובטוח בורא עולם ומנהיגו לקיים הבטחתו בעידנא דא לבטלא בכל קליפין דבי רעווא ולית זעפין, וכיון דשבת מני' מתברכין כולי יומי, ממשיכים מזה על כל השבוע כולו, כיון שמשבת נמשך למטה בגילוי.
