Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your request for a blessing for this man. It is surely unnecessary to remind you that one must find appropriate means to come to his aid, so that he may be freed from the moral impasse in which he has enclosed himself, due to the shame he felt on account of the mockery directed at him by young people who have strayed from the Torah* and the mitzvos*.

His determination, which he is putting to bad use, prevents him from admitting that he has made a mistake. In accordance with the nature of certain people in such a case, he wants to show that he is still capable of going forward, step by step, on this tortuous path.

I am sure that by reflecting and especially by consulting with those who know his nature, various means of action will be found. May Hashem grant you success.

You know the statement of our Sages that "whoever preserves a single Jewish soul is considered as if he had sustained the entire world." How much more is this the case regarding him, for his parents are doing everything they can, imploring above and below, that he be saved from the dangerous path upon which he has embarked in recent years.
