Greetings and blessings*,
The purpose of this letter is as follows. In these days, you will receive a visit in your city from my close relative, the Rav*, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, of manifold accomplishments, Rav Azriel Zelig Slonim (see note 2), director of Kollel Chabad* in the Holy Land. His visit concerns the Kollel* (see note 3).
It is unnecessary to explain to you the importance of Kollel Chabad*. All our holy masters, from the Alter Rebbe*, author of the Tanya* and Decisor of the hidden part of the Torah*, author of the Shulchan Aruch* and Decisor of the revealed part of the Torah*, until the leader of our generation, accord importance and value to this form of tzedakah*. They invite each person, in particular, to contribute to it.
No doubt you will do everything in your power so that his visit is a success. The merit of the many and the tzedakah* of the Holy Land depend on you and come to your aid.
With my blessing* to give good news, in good health, and that you derive much satisfaction from all your children,

בודאי אשר כת"ר יעשה ככל התלוי בו להצלחת בקורו של הנ"ל, וזכות רבים וצדקת אה"ק ת"ו תלוי בו ומסייעתו.
בברכה לבשו"ט מתוך בריאות הנכונה ורוב נחת מכל יו"ח שיחיו.
