To the distinguished Chassidim* who fear Hashem, partners of this factory,

Greetings and blessings*,

I have duly received your note, which will be read, at a propitious moment, near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, leader of Israel. In accordance with the teachings of our Sages regarding the Tzaddikim*, the shepherds of Israel: when their soul ascends on high, they continue to carry out their sacred mission and they invoke great mercy to satisfy the needs of their flock and, more broadly, of all those who are bound to them, materially and spiritually.

It is surely unnecessary to emphasize to you that the more one engages in Torah* and in its mitzvos*, the more one increases the blessing of the Creator of the world, Who directs it. In this way, one obtains the fulfillment of the wishes of one's heart, as it is said: "If you walk in My statutes." The Sifri*, cited by the commentary of Rashi*, explains: "By exerting your effort in Torah*." And the verse continues: "And you will keep My mitzvos*... I will give your rains in their time."

As I said when you visited me, I am convinced that by developing the vessel of your material sustenance — this factory — you will also broaden the blessing that Hashem grants you through its intermediary, on the condition that you also enlarge and develop the channels connecting this vessel, as it is here below, to the source of blessing — that is, by putting into practice the mitzvos* of Hashem.

May Hashem grant that, very soon, there be fulfilled for you the promise: "Open wide your mouth and I will fill it."

מאשר הנני קבלת הפתקא שלהם, אשר בעת רצון יקרא על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל, אשר מתאים למאמרי רז"ל אודות הצדיקים רועי ישראל, הנה גם בעלות נשמתם למרום עומדים הם ומשמשים בקדש ומעוררים ר"ר בהמצטרך לצאן מרעיתם ובכלל על השייכים אליהם הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות.

ובודאי למותר לעוררם אשר ככל שיוסיפו הם בעניני תורה ומצותי' יתוסף בברכת בורא עולם ומנהיגו במילוי משאלות לבבם לטובה, וכמ"ש אם בחקותי תלכו (ופירשו בספרי הובא ברש"י) שתהיו עמלים בתורה, ואת מצותי תשמרו וגו' ונתי גשמיכם בעתם וגו'.

בטוחני כמו שאמרתי בעת שביקרו אצלי, אשר הגדלת כלי פרנסתם היא בית החרשת הנ"ל תגדיל ג"כ ברכת השי"ת הנשפעת בכלי זה, ובלבד שיגדילו וירחיבו ג"כ את הצנורות המקשרים מקור הברכה עם הכלי למטה, היינו בקיום מצות השם, ויה"ר שבקרוב ממש יקוים בהם הרחב פיך ואמלאהו.
