To the great Rav*, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, of manifold accomplishments, filled with eagerness, Rav David (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings*,

I am responding to your letter of 9 Tishrei*, which I have just received. In the meantime, you have surely received my response to your previous letters.

I repeat the essential point, which is as follows. It is clear that the leadership of the network (see note 2) must direct everything that concerns it, but, as far as possible, this must be done without authoritarianism, without conflict (see note 3).

Consequently, you must not relinquish the appointment of male and female teachers. You must select them yourselves and decide where they will work. The same applies to the conditions of their salaries. However, this must be done in the most serene manner. In the meantime, many of the points you mention have surely been resolved. You will give me good news on this subject.

Awaiting your good news regarding what has just been said and regarding the improvement of the health of the members of your family,

במענה על מכתבו מט' תשרי שז"ע נתקבל, ובטח בינתים הגיע המענה שלי על מכ' הקודמים.

ואכפול הנקודה העיקרית, והיא: אשר מובן שהנהלת הרשת צריכה להיות הבעל הבית על כל עניני הרשת, אבל ככל האפשרי צ"ל זה באופן שלא לגרות (ניט אופרייצין) און ניט אראפרייסען דעם נאז, ולכן מובן שאין לוותר על ענין המינוי דמורים-ות ובחירתם וקביעות מקום עבודתם, וה"ה באופני התשלומים, אבל מוכרח לעשות זה בדרכי נועם ביותר וביותר, ובטח בינתים נסתדרו כמה מהפרטים אודותם כותב ויבשרני טוב בזה...

המחכה לבשו"ט בכל האמור, ומהטבת מצב בריאות כל ב"ב שיחיו.
