By the grace of Hashem,

13 Nissan 5709,

To the distinguished Chassid who fears Hashem and dedicates himself to attending to spiritual needs, Rav Y. Flyer[1],

I send you my greetings and blessings,

Following our discussion when you were here, I am pleased to inform you that we have at last overcome our many difficulties and are now in a position to publish the English translation of the memoirs of my father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita. This is, for now, the first volume, and you will find a copy enclosed.

I conclude for now by wishing you a kosher and joyous Pesach* in all its details. Indeed, its days are set this year as they were at the Exodus from Egypt[2], according to tractate Shabbat* 87.

May Hashem therefore grant that we experience this year the true and complete redemption, which we shall see with our own eyes.
