Greetings and blessings*,
I have just received your request for a blessing, together with the check that was enclosed.
You know that every Jew, even though he is obligated to fulfill the entirety of the Torah* and the mitzvos*, nonetheless receives accomplishments that concern him more specifically. For yeshivah* students, this includes studying the Torah* oneself, teaching it to others, and influencing them to continue this study independently.
Yet you write nothing of all this. No doubt you will do so on the next occasion, and you will remember that the conduct of Tishrei* conditions that of the entire year, for this month has a general scope.
May Hashem grant that you make use of this month in the proper way, by studying the revealed part of the Torah* and Chassidus*, and by spreading its wellsprings. If you truly desire it, all the apparent difficulties in this matter will disappear. I await good news concerning everything that has just been said.

זה עתה נתקבל הפ"נ שלו עם המוסגר בו - טשעק -.
והנה ידוע אשר כל אחד מישראל אף שמחויב הוא בכל התורה כולה ומצותי', ישנם ענינים שלהם שייך הוא ביחוד , ובהנוגע לתלמידי ישיבות הוא ענין לימוד התורה בעצמו, לימוד התורה עם זולתו, והשפעה על הזולת שגם בפני עצמו ירבה בלימוד התורה, ועל דבר זה אינך כותב דבר, ובודאי תמלא בהזדמנות הבאה, וזכור תזכור אשר ימי תשרי ההנהגה בהם נוגעת לכל השנה כולה כיון שהוא חדש הכללי.
ויה"ר שתנצל את החדש הזה ככל הדרוש הן בלימוד הנגלה והן בלימוד החסידות והפצת המעינות, וכשתרצה באמת יסורו כל הקישוים המדומים שישנם בזה, ואחכה לבשו"ט בכל האמור.
