Greetings and blessings*,
I have just received your letter from the eve of Rosh Hashanah*. As you request, I will mention your name at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, regarding what you say in your letter. May Hashem grant that you announce good news to me in this matter.
On this occasion, I would like to remind you that a letter reached me inviting you to appear before a Rav* who rules concretely on halachah*. Certain people attribute to you the intention of not responding to this invitation. It is quite obvious that this is absolutely not wise.
Indeed, our Torah* is a Torah* of life, and the one who rules on halachah* explains and makes known what is written. In this way, the satisfaction of the needs of all parties contributing to this clarification is increased.
There is no need to say more, so evident is this. You can, moreover, present your arguments and detail your situation before this Rav*. For our Torah* is a Torah* of kindness. May Hashem grant that in this matter as well, you give me good news.
With my blessing* to be definitively inscribed for a good year,
