To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, of manifold accomplishments, filled with zeal, of good conduct, Rav* Moshe Zalman (see note 1), shlita*,

Greetings and blessings*,

I have just received your letter from this Monday. I read with pleasure that you found your entire family in good health and in wholeness (see note 2), and also that a meeting was convened, at the conclusion of which it was decided to begin operating the Beis Rivka* (see note 3) immediately, in accordance with what was discussed here (see note 4).

Moreover, all of this was discussed during a farbrengen* (see note 5), a moment that receives a particular revelation and blessing. I therefore have good hope that considerable success will be seen in this matter. Our holy Torah* states that Hashem does not remain in debt. Without a doubt, He will therefore grant increased blessing and success to those who are active in this matter, and especially to those who occupy the first rank.

I am associated with this project (see note 6). Therefore, even though I am convinced that sufficient financial means are not lacking in Australia, the country that will benefit from the light emanating from the Beis Rivka*, I wish to take part also in this funding. I am therefore enclosing a check for participation in the founding and development of the Beis Rivka* Lubavitch school in Australia. May Hashem grant me the merit that this sum also contributes to the success previously mentioned.

I send you my blessing, that you be definitively sealed for a good year, together with your entire family, in particular your son David and his wife, who undoubtedly also have a determining role in the creation and maintenance of the Beis Rivka*, as we discussed here in Brooklyn.

I also grant you my blessing for good health, long days and good years, and true satisfaction — that is, Jewish satisfaction — from your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

May Hashem grant that for many years you will still send me good news of what concerns you personally and of your communal achievements.
