Greetings and blessings*,

I did not mean that you are the sole one responsible for everything that has happened. Nevertheless, it seems that all the directors, all the members of the administration, bear a share of responsibility in the discord. And it is necessarily so (see note 1), since it is said: "As the face reflects in water..." (see note 2).

If one of the parties were to begin adopting an attitude of peace and conciliation, the heart of the other would ultimately be transformed, in accordance with the terms of this verse.

May Hashem grant that at least from now on, each one will act in this manner. As the Alter Rebbe* explains and teaches in Iggeres HaTeshuvah*, at the end of chapter 9, when it comes to rectifying the past, one must redouble one's effort. And, in the words of our Sages*, "he who was accustomed to read one page..." (see note 3).
