To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav* Meir (see note 1),
Greetings and blessings*,
I am enclosing a copy of the letter that I am addressing to Mr. Damyel (see note 2), as well as an extract which, for obvious reasons, I did not wish to include in that letter. It would be good for you to speak to him about the content of this extract, presenting it as coming from you, or as being based on my opinions in this matter. I thank you for telling me what comes of it.
On the occasion of the approaching new year, for us and for all of Yisroel*, for good and for blessing, I express my blessing to you and to all of yours, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually.
