Greetings and blessings*,
I am responding to your letter, in which you describe what took place at the wedding of your daughter, celebrated at a good and fruitful time.
Various holy books explain that every time one witnesses a miracle — especially an evident one, for indeed there is no day without a miracle, but the one to whom it occurs is not aware of it — one must meditate on the kindnesses of Hashem, Who performs great wonders, and bring a thanksgiving offering, meaning to adopt an additional practice from our Torah*, the Torah* of life, and its mitzvos*.
This is also the vessel for multiplying the kindnesses of Hashem for the one who benefited from the miracle and for the members of his family. You should understand what I mean.
On the occasion of the approaching new year, for us and for all of Yisroel*, for good and for blessing, I express my blessing to you and to all of yours, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually.

במענה על מכתבו, בו כותב ע"ד המאורע בעת חתונת בתו תחי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת.
מבואר בכמה ספרים הק' אשר בכל עת שהאדם רואה נס, שבאמת אין לך כל יום שאין בו נסים, אלא שאין בעל הנס מכיר בנסו ובפרט בנס גלוי, צריך להתבונן הרואה בחסדי השי"ת עושה נפלאות גדולות, ולהביא קרבן תודה, כוונתי להוסיף בתורתנו תורת חיים ומצותי', וזה עצמו משמש ג"כ כלי להוספה בחסדי השי"ת עם בעל הנס וב"ב, והנמשל מובן...
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולכל אשר לו, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.
