To our brethren, the sons and daughters of Yisroel*, may Hashem grant them long life,

Greetings and blessings*,

The financial situation of the Yeshivos* Tomchei Temimim* Lubavitch compels us to issue an exceptional appeal for help.

For several decades, the Lubavitch Yeshivos* have been the most solid pillars of a Torah* that is whole, filled with the fear of Hashem. The renaissance and vitality they have brought to Jewish life in America since their transfer here in 5700 (see note 1) by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, are also well known.

At such a time, it would therefore be fitting to provide the Yeshivos* Tomchei Temimim* with all the means necessary to pursue their development and expansion. Yet they must manage a growing deficit, in addition to the necessity of covering the current budget.

I therefore address myself, from the depth of my heart, to all those who cherish the Torah* and recognize the vital character of the presence of true Jewish values in America.

Extend your hand generously and quickly send the largest possible contribution to the Yeshivos* Tomchei Temimim* Lubavitch. Your participation at this time will come at its proper moment.

By the merit of this tzedakah* for Torah*, in these days of mercy and goodwill (see note 2), Hashem, Who gives the Torah*, will grant you and yours to be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year.
