Greetings and blessings*,
I am responding to your letter of the month of Menachem Av, in which you refer to the prayer rite and the knot of the tefillin*.
In accordance with the tradition of Chabad*, the Alter Rebbe*, author of the Tanya* and the Shulchan Aruch*, established this prayer rite by consulting dozens of books. Indeed, the purpose of prayer is to bring elevation to everything concerning a person, spiritually and even materially.
It is therefore clear that for anyone who wishes to belong to the Chassidim* of the Alter Rebbe*, it is very good and wise to pray according to the rite that he himself established.
The same applies to the knot of the tefillin* and to everything connected with prayer.
As you request, I will mention all those you cite at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us.

במענה על מכתבו מחדש מנ"א, בו כותב אודות נוסח התפלה וקשר של תפילין.
- וכבר ידוע במסורת חב"ד אשר רבנו הזקן בעל התניא והשו"ע בירר נוסח זה מכמה עשיריות נוסחאות, וכיון שהתפלה ענינה גם להעלות את כל עניני האדם הרוחנים וגם הגשמים, מובן מזה שהרוצה להיות נמנה על חסידי רבנו הזקן מהנכון ביותר וטוב להתפלל בהנוסח אשר קבע, ועד"ז הוא גם בהנוגע לקשר של תפילין ושאר ענינים הקשורים בתפלה.
כבקשתו יזכירו את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
