To my close relative, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav* Yehudah Leib (see note 1),
Greetings and blessings*,
I am responding to your letter of 25 Menachem Av, in which you describe the actions and impressions resulting from the visit of the young emissaries (see note 2), the Rabbanim* may Hashem grant them long life. May you be as gratified as you have gratified me.
Indeed, the content of your letter strengthens my hope that the Chassidim* of the Holy Land will indeed do everything in their power so that the visit, the actions, and the impressions serve the essential goal, which is the spreading of the wellsprings* (see note 3) outward, as our Torah* commands. And this spreading will have a concrete effect in daily life, in thoughts, in words, and in actions.
Moreover, we are in the favorable period of the month of mercy (see note 4), when the King is in the field and welcomes with benevolence whoever comes to meet Him there, as explained in Likkutei Torah*, Parshas* Re'eh, page 32b, which you should consult.
May Hashem grant that you announce good news to me in this domain as well.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ה מנ"א, בו כותב הפעולות והרושמים מביקורם של האברכים השלוחים הרבנים שליט"א, ותנוח דעתו כאשר הניח את דעתי, כי תוכן כתבו מחזק תקותי אשר אנ"ש שבאה"ק ת"ו יעשו ככל התלוי בהם לנצל את הביקור הפעולות והרושמים לנקודה העיקרית הפצת המעינות חוצה ובאופן המצוה עלינו בתורה ע"מ שיבוא בפועל בחיי היום יומים במחשבה דבור ומעשה, ובפרט שנמצאים אנו בימי ההתעוררות חדש הרחמים שהמלך נמצא בשדה ומקבל את כ"א שרוצה לקבל את פניו בספ"י, ככתוב בלקו"ת פ' ראה לב, ב עיי"ש, ויה"ר שיבשר טוב גם בזה.
