I have read with pleasure your brief description (see note 1) of the actions of the young emissaries (see note 2), the Rabbanim*, may Hashem grant them long life, in the Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt. You will surely continue to do so (see note 3) for all the actions in which you participate, and you will ask those who take part in the other actions that you briefly mention to follow your example.

The general idea is as follows. After all these elevations, their visit is, in the final analysis, merely a plowing and some sowing. It is now that the essential work comes, as far as the Chassidim* are concerned in general, and the youth of the Chabad* association in particular. One must accomplish all the other tasks, enumerated by the author of the Mishnah* who explains how bread is made, so that it be, according to the definition of Chassidus*, a fitting food for the Supernal Man seated on the Throne, presentable on the table of the King, King of kings, the Holy One blessed be He.

You will understand what all this means. It would be good if immediately, while the memory (see note 4) is still vivid and strong, you consult on how to use this visit and these actions in the most effective manner.

May Hashem grant you success.

I am also writing on this matter to the directorate of the youth of the Chabad* association. Nevertheless, experience has shown that this (see note 5) is sometimes considered "the pot of the partners" (see note 6). Until now, you have achieved success in this matter. One must therefore keep the wheels turning (see note 7).

May Hashem grant that you achieve success in this and also in your personal endeavors.

... נעם לי לקרות הראשי פרקים מפעולות האברכים השלוחים הרבנים שליט"א באה"ק ת"ו. ובודאי עוד ימלא בזה בהענינים בהם משתתף, ויעורר שיעשו ככה אלו שהשתתפו בשאר הפעולות שהוא כותב אודותם רק ראשי פרקים מפי השמועה.

ונקודה הכללית בכל זה היא, שאחרי כל העילוים - ביקורם של הנ"ל הוא מעין חרישה ובמקצת גם זריעה. ועתה באה עיקר העבודה - המוטלת על אנ"ש בכלל וצעירי אגו"ח ביחוד - לעשות כל שאר המלאכות דחשיב תנא בסידורא דפת עד שיהי' - בלשון החסידות - דבר ראוי לאדם עליון שעל הכסא, עולה על שולחן מלכים הוא ממה"מ הקב"ה, והנמשל מובן, ומהנכון שתומ"י, כל זמן הרושם חם וחי, יתייעצו ביניהם איך לנצל הביקור והפעולות של הנ"ל באופן הכי יעיל, והשי"ת יצליחם.

אף שכותב הנני עד"ז גם להנהלת צעירי אגו"ח, כבר הראה הנסיון שלפעמים מתקבל זה כקדירה דבי שותפי, וכיון שהצליח הוא בכגון דא עד עתה להניע את הגלגלים וכו', יה"ר שיצליח בזה גם עתה נוסף על פעולתו הוא בעצמו.
