To the attention of the leaders of the confederation
of workers of Agudas Yisroel in America,
may Hashem grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

We are responding to your letter of 23 Menachem Av. We have the honor of informing you that the Rebbe shlita* sent today a telegram to the location of your gathering in the Holy Land. This is the response to the telegraphic invitation from the leadership of the workers of Agudas Yisroel* there. Here is the text:

"I am responding to your invitation and I send you my blessings that your gathering be fruitful, that it succeed in conducting a sincere effort to strengthen and disseminate uncompromising Yiddishkeit*.

Our Sages say that 'we are the workers (see note 1) of the day,' and the Tzemach Tzedek* explains that we must bring about (see note 2) the day and the light, through 'the candle (which) is a mitzvah and the Torah (which) is a light,' as well as through the luminary of the Torah (see note 3), until the true and complete redemption shines forth.

May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year.
