Blessings and greetings,
I am responding to your letter of 23 Menachem Av, in which you describe your dream and what occurred.
Forget all of this completely! No doubt not all the mezuzos* in your home are kosher*. They should therefore be checked. It would be good to do the same with your husband's tefillin*, may he be granted long life.
Before lighting candles on the eve of Shabbos* and the festivals, it would be good to give several coins to tzedakah*. Your husband should do likewise every Monday and Thursday, provided it is not a festival. And he should give several coins to tzedakah before prayer.
Furthermore, you should strengthen your trust in the Creator of the world, Who directs it. He is the Essence of good and wishes to bestow His goodness upon every Jewish man and every Jewish woman. Nevertheless, one must forge the appropriate receptacle* to receive His blessing. This receptacle is a way of life in accordance with the teachings of our Torah*, the Torah of life.
The merit of your parents will come to your aid, and I await good news of all this. May Hashem grant that it be so soon.

במענה על מכתבה מכ"ג מנ"א, בו כותבת ע"ד החלום והמאורע וכו'.
ותסיח דעתה מכל זה בהחלט, ובטח לא כל המזוזות בדירתה כשרות וצריך לבודקן, ומה טוב לבדוק גם התפילין של בעלה שליט"א, ומהנכון שלפני הדלקת הנרות בכל ערב שבת וערב יום טוב תפריש איזה פרוטות לצדקה וכן יעשה בעלה בכל יום חול של שני וחמישי להפריש איזה פרוטות לצדקה קודם התפלה, ויתחזקו בבטחונם בבורא עולם ומנהיגו שהוא עצם הטוב ורוצה להיטיב לכל אחד ואחת מבני ישראל, ורק שצריך לעשות כלי המתאים לקבלת הברכה, והוא אורח חיים מתאים להוראת תורתנו תורת חיים, והרי זכות אבותם מסייעתם, ואחכה לבשורות טובות בכל האמור, ויהי רצון שיהי' בקרוב.
