Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your letter from Motzaei Shabbos*. I read with pleasure that, despite all your difficulties in earning a livelihood, despite the many hours you must devote to your work, you have nevertheless committed, without making a vow, to participate in public studies of the revealed dimension of Torah* and of Chassidus*.
Obviously, this (see note 1) is in addition to the three well-known daily studies of Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya*, which you can, incidentally, learn during your commute to your place of work and on the way back.
May the Creator of the world, Who directs it, enable you to earn your livelihood with ease, so that your present commitment (see note 2) will be followed by action, without difficulty. In this way, you will put into practice the directive to exert effort in Torah, as it is stated: "You will make effort and you will know success," making an additional increase beyond these commitments. Indeed, you know the promise of our Torah that "to whoever adds (see note 3), more is added (see note 4)."
May Hashem grant that you give me good news of all this and also of the liberation of the members of your family, from constriction to expansiveness (see note 5), with goodness and mercy.

במענה על מכתבו ממוצש"ק, נעם לי לקרות בו אשר למרות שרבו טרדותיו בעניני פרנסה ורבו שעות עבודתו בזה, בכל זה קבל על עצמו - בלי נדר - להשתתף בלימוד ברבים בנגלה ובחסידות, ובודאי שזהו נוסף על שלשת השיעורים הידועים בחומש תהלים ותניא, ובפרט שהרי יכול לקיימם בעת נסיעתו למקום עבודתו וחזרה.
ויהי רצון מבורא עולם ומנהיגו, אשר יקל עליו עניני הפרנסה באופן אשר החלטתו עתה תבוא לפועל מבלי קישוים וינצל הציווי שצ"ל עמל תורה ויגעת ומצאת דוקא בהוספה על החלטות הנ"ל, וכבר נודעה הבטחת תורתנו כל המוסיף מוסיפין לו, ויה"ר שיבשר טוב בהנ"ל, וכן בהנוגע ליציאתם של בני המשפחה שלהם מן המיצר אל המרחב בחסד וברחמים.
