To the members of the spiritual committee of Kfar Chabad*,
may Hashem grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

I have received the report of your meetings of 13 and 15 Menachem Av. May Hashem grant that this be a good beginning for introducing a positive change in all the spiritual domains concerning Kfar Chabad, which will consequently also bring about a change in material accomplishments (see note 1).

You know the value of resolutions taken publicly, as the Kuntres HaChaltzu* explains. It is quite clear that, from this perspective, the members of the committee must set the example and adopt conduct in accordance with what they teach. And you know that what is sufficiently moist to communicate this moisture to that with which it comes in contact possesses a quality that is absent from what is moist without having this capacity (see note 2).

May Hashem grant you the ability to improve the situation considerably. Even if it is already satisfactory, good has no limit and is without end. Indeed, it emanates from the essence of good, the source of the infinite.

I await good news on this subject, containing all the necessary details.

מאשר הנני קבלת הפ"כ מאסיפתם די"ג וט"ו מנ"א, ויהי רצון שתהי' אלו התחלה טובה בשינוי לטוב במצב כל הענינים הרוחנים דכפר חב"ד, אשר בדרך ממילא תביא לשינוי במצב כל הענינים הגשמים דכפר חב"ד, וכבר ידוע ממעלת ההחלטות המתקבלות ברבים, וכמבואר בקונטרס החלצו, ופשוט שחברי הועד צריכים להיות דוגמא חי' נאה דורש וגם נאה מקיים, וכידוע הענין דהוספת טופח ע"מ להטפיח על טופח סתם, והשי"ת יצליחם להיטיב המצב כהנה וכהנה, אשר כל שיהי' טוב הרי הטוב הוא בלתי בעל גבול ואין סופי, כיון שמקורו הוא עצם הטוב בעל גבול האמתית, ואחכה לבשו"ט בזה מפורטות כל צרכן.
