To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and bears
a sacred mission, Rav Chaim Meir (see note 1),
Greetings and blessings,
After a particularly long interruption, I have received your letter of 15 Menachem Av, the day of the most perfect full moon (see note 2). And our Sages say that "there was no festival for Yisroel like the 15th of Av and Yom Kippur" (see note 3).
I read with pleasure that you have succeeded in rectifying several Sifrei Torah* (see note 4). There are no words to express how important this is, as explained in particular by the Zohar*, Volume 3, page 71a, commenting on the discovery of an extra Vav (see note 5). The Tikkunei Zohar*, in Tikkun 25, also discusses missing and added letters.
This also underscores the necessity of loving every person (see note 6), as was explained during a Chassidic gathering*, an excerpt of which, treating this subject, is reproduced in the Kovetz Lubavitch*, third section (see note 7).
Obviously, all of this does not exempt you from participating in study sessions of the revealed dimension of Torah* and of Chassidus*, in addition to the three well-known daily studies of Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya* (see note 8). May Hashem grant you success.

לאחרי ההפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מט"ו מנ"א, יום בו קיימא סיהרא באשלמותא ביותר, וכמרז"ל לא היו י"ט לישראל כט"ו באב ויוהכ"פ כו'.
נעם לי לקרות בו שהצליח להגיה כמה מספרי תורה, אשר גודל הענין אין די באר, ובפרט ע"פ המבואר בזהר חלק ג' עמוד א' על דאשתכח וא"ו יתיר כו', ועד"ז בתקו"ז תקון כ"ה בעניני דחסר ומלא.
ולהעיר אשר עפ"י הנ"ל מובן ג"כ גודל הענין דאהבת ישראל לכאו"א, וכמבואר ג"כ באחת ההתועדות ונעתק קטע זה בקובץ ליובאוויטש חלק ג'.
פשוט אשר כל הנ"ל אין פוטר משיעורים בלימוד הנגלה והחסידות, נוסף על שלשת השיעורים הידועים בחומש תהלים ותניא, והשי"ת יצליחו.
