and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessings,
I have received your letter of the 18th (see note 2) of Menachem Av. I am surprised that you are so brief, when it would have been necessary to give details regarding everything concerning Kfar Chabad* in general, and Chabad women and girls (see note 3) in particular. Indeed, Divine Providence* has made it so that you can devote yourself to encouraging and strengthening them in everything concerning Yiddishkeit* and Chassidus*. No doubt you will complete all of this at the next opportunity.
As you request, I will mention your names near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, in particular that of your wife, so that her health may improve. You will lead all your children to Torah*, to the wedding canopy*, and to good deeds.
