Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter from the end of Tammuz. As you request, I will mention all those you cite in your letter near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, in particular your mother, for the improvement of her health.

I hope that you have had, or at the very least have sought, the opportunity to meet the young emissaries* (see note 2), may they be granted long life, who were sent from here. You will exchange with them words on the revealed dimension of Torah* and on Chassidus*.

You know the saying (see note 3) of our holy master that when two Jews meet, and how much more so when they speak of Torah, something good must result for another Jew (see note 4). How much more is this the case for those who are capable of influencing others. Everything that they acquire can then be transmitted to those whom they guide. This addition is thus multiplied many times over. This is self-evident.

A pamphlet that has just appeared has been sent to you under separate cover. Surely you will make its content available to the greatest number. The merit of all depends upon you.

אקוה אשר נזדמן לו ועכ"פ חפש הזדמנות להפגש עם האברכים השלוחים שליט"א מכאן ולשוחח אתם בד"ת בנגלה ובחסידות, וכבר ידוע פתגם נשיאנו הק' אשר כששני יהודים נפגשים, ועאכו"כ כ[שמ]שוחחים בד"ת נצמח מזה טובה גם לעוד מי מבני ישראל, ובפרט כשהמדובר בכאלו שיש להם שייכות להשפעה על הזולת, אשר כל ענין שמתוסף בהם נותן מקום שיתוסף עי"ז בכאו"א מהמושפעים, זאת אומרת, שההוספה נכפלת כמה פעמים ככה, וק"ל.

במשלוח מיוחד נשלח לו הקונטרס שהו"ל זה לא כבר, ובטח יזכה בתוכנו את הרבים וזכות הרבים תלוי בו.
