Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 10 Menachem Av. You ask me how to rectify what occurred (see note 1). The Rav* (see note 2) has given you his response on this matter, and there is therefore no cause for worry, Heaven forbid.

Nevertheless, you repeat once again in your letter the question of what ought to be done. It would therefore be wise for you to acquire a thorough knowledge of Iggeres HaTeshuvah* of the Alter Rebbe*. You should study its twelve chapters in depth.

Surely you will continue to lend your support in the future so that the emissaries* (see note 3), may they be granted long life, achieve success. You will give me good news in this regard.

במענה על מכתבו מיו"ד מנ"א, במ"ש אודות תיקון המאורע, הנה כיון שהמרא דאתרא הורה בזה אין מקום לדאגה בזה ח"ו, אלא שמכיון שכופל במכתבו בבקשת הוראה בזה. - מהנכון שיעשה בקי באגרת התשובה לרבנו הזקן ביחד עם לימודן י"ב הפרקים בעיון.

בודאי ישתף פעולה גם להבא בהנוגע להצלחת השלוחים שליט"א, ויבשר טוב בזה.
