You ask (this letter is addressed to Rav Ephraim Eliezer Yalles of Philadelphia; see letter 4460) about the inauguration of a house (chanukkas habayis*), according to the beginning of the Sheiltos*, the Midrash Tanchuma* at the cited reference, and the Magen Avraham*, chapter 565, paragraph 5.
