Salutations and blessings,
A) Thank you for the news about Rav Pinchas Landau* and about the visit of Rav Chaim Shlomo Palmer*. As the saying goes, 'a woman can discuss while spinning wool'[4] — so your letter reminded me of my own needs as well. Please follow up on increasing the grant from the Yeshivat Torat Emet* Chicago committee.
B) I sent the 10 Shevat* sichah* and the 10–13 Shevat fascicle by regular mail (the date has passed — Torah* is sparing of Jewish property). In the same package: a fascicle for your close relative Rav Baruch Shimon Schneersohn*[5], the 19 Kislev* fascicle, and the Shevat* fascicle for another relative, Rav Chaim Schneerson* — please deliver these.
C) I sent the Sefer HaNigunim* (Songs of Chabad*) as an active Kehot* and Merkaz L'Inyanei Chinuch* member — please confirm receipt.
D) There is a letter for each of those mentioned (I do not know their exact addresses). Does Rav Baruch Shimon write more articles about Kehot and Merkaz L'Inyanei Chinuch?
E) Regarding your question about yahrzeit* customs — I will answer after verifying. It may be included in the 2 Nissan[6] (Rebbe Rashab's* yahrzeit) fascicle.
F) It is a pity that the Tanya* commentaries by your father have still not been sent — I had thought Rav Palmer would bring them. This has been mentioned many times.
G) Newspapers report that yeshiva* students and Orthodox Jews have been attacked in the streets of Jerusalem — please provide information to calm concerns here.
H) If possible, obtain permission to acquire copies of all Kehot publications. The number of chassidim* and yeshiva students coming to Eretz Yisrael* is increasing.

במענה על מכתבו מי"ב שבט:
א) ת"ח על כתבו משלום הרפ"ל לנדא וב"ב שיחיו וכן מהנעשה בעת היות הר"ש שי' פאלמער באה"ק. ואיתתא בהדי שותא פילכא ובטח עשו ככל הדרוש להגדלת העזר מהקרן דשיקאגא בשביל ישיבת תו"א.
ב) נשלחה לו שיחת יו"ד שבט והקונטרס ליו"ד י"ג שבט ובאשר כבר עבר מועד זה והתורה חסה על ממונם של ישראל נשלח בדואר הרגיל ומצורף בחבילה זו גם קונטרס שבט בשביל ש"ב הררב"ש שי' שניאורסאן וקונטרס יט"כ וקונטרס שבט בשביל ש"ב ה"ר חיים שי' שניאורסאן ות"ח על הטרחא במסירתם.
ג) בתור משתתף בעבודת המל"ח וקה"ת נשלח לו ספר הנגונים שהו"ל זה עתה ובטח יאשר קבלת כהנ"ל.
ד) מוסג"פ מכ' בשביל כל אחד מהנ"ל מאי ידיעתי כתובתם הנכונה ובהזדמנות זו אתענין לדעת אם הדפיס הררב"ש עוד איזה מאמרים בהנוגע לקה"ת מל"ח וכו'.
ה) בשאלותיו במנהגי היאר"צ אענה כשאברר עוה"פ ואולי גם יודפס בקונטרס ב' ניסן הבע"ל.
ו) חבל שלא שלח ע"ע הערות אביו ז"ל בנוגע לתניא ואני אמרתי אולי יביאם הרש"פ וזה רבות פעמים שכתבתי עד"ז.
ז) קראו פה במכ"ע שבירות"ו התעללו ברחובות קרי' בבחורי ישיבות וחרדים בכלל ומטובו להודיע פשר דבר להשקיט את הרוחות.
ח) אם אפשר להם לקבל רשיון ע"ז הרי היו יכולים לקנות מספר מסוים מכל הנדפס ע"י קה"ת ובפרט בהוה שנתרבה מספר אנ"ש והתמימים באה"ק.
