I duly received the letters of the 8th of Sivan, the 8th, the 18th, and the 28th (see note 2), as well as the preceding one. The latter presented the continuation of the report on the activities of the Chabad youth association.

I am surprised to note that you do not mention the existence of any consultation or preparation of activity for the period of school vacations, which are approaching. In such a case, the more quickly one acts, the better.

No doubt you will engage, sufficiently early, those who can intervene in this matter, so that they orient themselves in this direction. Of course, I am referring not only to the Chabad youth association but also to everything concerning the Chassidim* in general. This is self-evident.

You ask me about the following passage of the Tanya*, on page 70b: "Some are moved, etc." You ask me what this "etc." means. It defines, quite simply, the manner and nature of this emotion. This point will not be elaborated upon here. You should consult the introduction of the Tanya, which adds the expression "and become aware." You should also see the Likkutei Torah*, at the beginning of Parshas* Bamidbar, and its commentary.

At the beginning of the name index of the Tanya (see note 3), the word "at length" is, of course, superfluous.
