To the honorable and distinguished benefactor, a man who fears Hashem, zealous communal leader of many accomplishments, crowned with fine sentiments,
Mr. Yitzchak Elmaleh (see note 1),
I greet you and bless you.
I duly received your letter of the 10th of Sivan.
We are approaching the celebration of the liberation of the 12th and 13th of Tammuz, that of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us — the Tzaddik* who is the pillar of the world. He then left the prison in which he had been confined for having given of himself entirely in his battle for the Torah and the mitzvos* (see note 2). He thereby revealed hidden strengths and the help of Hashem for all those who follow his example and continue his sacred work.
May Hashem grant that in these auspicious days, each one of us receive an abundant blessing in order to know success in his deep mission, without veils and without obstacles, materially and spiritually.

ולקראת חג הגאולה די"ב-י"ג תמוז, גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע צדיק יסוד עולם, שנגאל ממאסרו אחרי שחרף נפשו מנגד במלחמתה של תורה ומצוה והמשיך כוחות נעלמים וסייעתא דשמייא לכל ההולכים בעקבותיו וממשיכים עבודתו הק', יהי רצון שיושפע שפע רב לכל אחד מאתנו בימי סגולה אלה להצליח במילוי השליחות הנפשית של כל אחד מאתנו בלי הסתרים והעלמות בגשמיות וברוחניות.
