I greet you and bless you.
A) I once told my father-in-law, the Rebbe, that a certain person had seen me giving tzedakah* during the night (see note 1), for a certain reason. He expressed his great surprise at what I had done, since the writings of the Arizal* hold an entirely different view (see note 2).
My father-in-law, the Rebbe, responded to me that the one who was so astonished surely did not give tzedakah during the day either.
B) You have surely learned of my telegram (see note 3) regarding the organization of the festival of Shavuos* at Kfar Chabad. I specified there that in addition to the residents of the Kfar, the students of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* of Lod and the Chassidim* must also be present.
Please inform me who, among the Chassidim, came to spend the festival of Shavuos at Kfar Chabad, in accordance with what was said.
May Hashem grant that in these auspicious days, the merit of the founder of Kfar Chabad, who directs it — my father-in-law, the Rebbe — protect each of those who are connected to him and strive to strengthen his activities, by satisfying their needs and those of the members of their family, materially and spiritually.

... ג) סיפרתי פעם לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, אשר פב"פ ראה אותי מפריש לצדקה - מפני סיבה - בלילה, והביע תמהתו הכי גדולה על עשותי כך, כיון שבכתבי האריז"ל כתוב אחרת. ויענני כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - שבטח אותו שתמה תמי' גדולה כ"כ, איננו נותן לצדקה גם ביום.
ד) בודאי נודע תוכן המברק שלי בהנוגע לסדרי חג השבועות בכפר חב"ד, והדגשתי שם בדיוק - נוסף על תושבי הכפר - תלמידי תו"ת בלוד ואנ"ש, ומטובם להודיעני מי ומי מאנ"ש בא לחג השבועות בכפר חב"ד מתאים להאמור.
ויהי רצון שזכות מייסד כפר חב"ד ומנהלו, הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, אשר ימי סגולה הם ימים אלו, יעמוד לכאו"א השייכים אליו ומשתדלים להחזקת מפעליו - להמצטרך לו ולבני ביתו שיחיו בגשמיות וברוחניות.
