Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter, which was not dated.

This letter and the news I have received indirectly show that you are achieving success in your sacred mission — education based on sacred values. One must therefore continue this activity during the next school year. Obviously, one must take advantage of the weeks at the end of summer to train, to the extent possible.

Should one take courses or have recourse to another means? This depends on various points and also on your spiritual preparation. You will therefore seek counsel from Chassidim*, to whom you will present all these details. Hashem will guide you in the appropriate manner, so that your activity be as broad as possible and, as I have said, you will continue your sacred mission in the field of education on behalf of Chabad*.

You tell me that you are broken by your spiritual situation. Now, you know the teaching of our holy masters, whose merit protects us, according to which: "One action is preferable to a thousand complaints." For your action to be more fruitful, practice demonstrates that it must be joyful.

You will therefore place your trust in the assurance of our Sages that "one comes to the aid of the one who wishes to purify himself." Do not be discouraged if the situation evolves slowly and not all at once, for this is so in the domain of holiness, except in entirely exceptional cases. One must therefore advance from one stage to the next, progressively.

May Hashem grant you success so that you bring good news of all this,

I am surprised that you tell me nothing of your participation in the gatherings of Chassidim*. You will tell me about this as well at the next opportunity.

במענה על מכתבו - בלי הוראת זמן הכתיבה -

כיון שכנראה ממכתבו, וכן מהידיעות שקבלתי מן הצד, מצליח במלאכתו מלאכת הקדש בחינוך הכשר על טהרת הקדש, יש להשתדל להמשיך בזה גם לזמן הבע"ל, ומובן ופשוט שיש לנצל שבועות דשילהי קיץ להשתלם בזה ככל האפשרי, ואם ע"י קורסים או באופן אחר, ה"ז תלוי בכמה פרטים וגם בתכונות נפש האדם, ולכן יתייעץ בזה עם אנ"ש שלפניהם יפרט פרטים אלו, והשי"ת ינחהו בדרך הטובה שתהי' פעולה היותר אפשרית, ובהתאם להאמור להמשיך במלאכתו בקדש בשטח החינוך בשדה חב"ד.

ובמ"ש אשר שבור הוא ממצבו הרוחני וכו', כבר ידוע הוראת נשיאנו הק' זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, טובה פעולה אחת מאלף אנחות, וכדי שתצליח הפעולה יותר רואים במוחש שצריכה להעשות מתוך שמחה, ונכון יהי' בטוח בהבטחת רז"ל הבא לטהר מסייעין לו, ואל יפול ברוחו אם הענינים מתקדמים לאט לאט ולא בבת אחת, כי כן הוא הסדר בסטרא דקדושה (מלבד בתור הוראת שעה ובמקרה יוצא מן הכלל) שצריכים ללכת מדרגא לדרגא ומחיל אל חיל, ויצליחו השי"ת לבשר טוב בכל האמור.

לפלא שאינו מזכיר מהשתתפותו בהתועדויות אנ"ש, ובטח גם עד"ז יכתוב בהזדמנות הקרובה.
