Igrot Kodesh · Letter 450 — General
Volume 3 · Letter 45
Following up on letter 332 — Merkaz L'Inyanei Chinuch*[4] thanks you for your renewed contribution to the Sdei Chemed* publication. The Previous Rebbe's* initiative demonstrates how his work unites the deepest Torah* and Chassidut* scholarship with meeting every Jew's daily practical needs. The Ten Commandments* illustrate this: they begin with 'Anochi'[2] — alluding to the highest manifestation of Divinity[3] — and conclude with practical commandments such as honoring parents and the prohibitions against murder and theft. Faith is not abstract — it has concrete daily application. In the same way, the Previous Rebbe* publishes both chassidic philosophy and practical works such as the Sdei Chemed.* Blessing for you and your family.
