To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav Zeev Wolf (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter from the conclusion of Shabbos*, to which were attached lists of Chassidim*, intended to be read at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us.

You may forward the donation made by each of them (see note 2) to the treasury of the Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak* Lubavitch* network (see note 3) in the Holy Land, which carries out, as you know, a sacred mission.

Indeed, the precept "And you shall teach your children" is one of the foundations upon which the continuity of Israel rests. And our Sages say: "If there are kids, there will be goats" (see note 4).

May Hashem grant that we soon witness the fulfillment of the promise that "the small one shall become a thousand and the young one shall constitute a great nation."
