To the distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Yaakov (see note 1),
Greetings and blessings,
I thank you for having described the chassidic farbrengens* that took place during the propitious days. You will surely maintain this positive practice (see note 2) in the future. Indeed, this is an integral part of the Divine Injunction, which is a great principle of the Torah*: "Love your fellow as yourself."
It is a necessity to provide deep pleasure to another Jew. The majority of the letters I receive at present do not contain joy-inducing content. Every correspondence that goes in this direction is therefore particularly precious to me.
May Hashem grant that this chassidic farbrengen*, as well as all those to come, have concrete results — in addition to their intrinsic value, which is beyond words to describe. Nevertheless, action takes precedence, and the Mishnah* establishes that "the deed is the essential thing."
With my blessing, in the words of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, for a healthy summer (see note 3) and for good news of all this,

שלום וברכה!
... ת"ח על כתבו מההתועדות בימי הסגולה שעברו, ובודאי גם להבא ינהג במנהג טוב זה, והרי גם זה נכנס בציווי השי"ת שהוא כלל גדול בתורה ואהבת לרעך כמוך לגרום נחת רוח פנימי לאיש הישראלי ובמרבית המכתבים שמתקבלים הרי לע"ע מעטים המכתבים בתוכן גורם קורת רוח שלכן יקר יותר כל מכתב כזה. ויה"ר שהתועדות הנ"ל וכן אלו שבעתיד יביאו לפעולות גם במעשה נוסף על ערכן מצד עצמן שגם זה אין די באר, ובכל זה גדול עוד המעשה וכדבר משנה, המעשה עיקר.
בברכה כלשון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר צו א געזונטען זומער ולבשורות טובות בכל האמור.
