To the great Rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav Yitzchak (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of the forty-fifth day of the Omer* (see note 2) and I thank you for the good news of the improvement in the health of Mr. Rosenberg. In such a case, you surely find the appropriate words to explain to him that one strengthens the blessings of Hashem by multiplying the vessels to contain them.

These vessels are the practice of Torah* and mitzvos*. And you know the saying of the Rebbe Maharash*, according to which "the essence of the soul suggests the words" (see note 3).

On the occasion of the festival of Shavuos*, may Hashem grant us the merit, together with all of Israel, in accordance with the formulation of our master, my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, to receive the Torah* with joy and in an inward manner.

P.S.: I am enclosing a copy of my letter, addressed to all, for the meeting of Nshei* and Bnos* Chabad* that took place here. It would be good to consider whether the time has come to create an identical structure in your city, even if its name is not yet "Nshei and Bnos Chabad*." I leave this to your judgment.
