To the directors of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim*, in Lod,
may Hashem* grant you long life,
Greetings and blessings,
I have duly received your letters of 22 and 23 Iyar*. You mention the appropriate location for building the Yeshivah* building (see note 1). I have already set forth, in a previous letter (see note 2), the general idea in this matter. It must be as far as possible from the vocational schools. Indeed, these two institutions do not have the same study program. What choice should be made for this condition to be met? You will discuss this on the spot, and Hashem* will grant you success.
I am surprised that you do not cite in your letter the accomplishments of those who traveled (see note 3) on the luminous day of Lag BaOmer*, the Hilula* of Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai. No doubt you will make good use of the days of Shavuos*, the time of the giving of our Torah*, which is approaching, in the fitting manner. May Hashem* grant that you meet with success.
On the occasion of the festival of Shavuos*, which is approaching, may we all have the merit, within all of Israel, according to the formulation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, to receive the Torah* with joy and in a profound manner.
I have duly received the press clippings and I thank you for them.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביהם מכ' כ"ב כ"ג אייר, ובמה שכותבים אודות המקום המתאים לבנין הישיבה. כבר כתבתי במכתבי מאז, הנקודה הכללית בזה, שצ"ל בריחוק מקום האפשרי מבתי הספר למלאכה, כיון שסדרי הלימודים בשניהם אינם בשוה, ומהחלקות שמתאימות לתנאי זה באיזה מהן לבחור, עליהם לדון על אתר והשי"ת יצליחם.
לפלא שאין מזכירים במכתבם מפעולות הנוסעים [ב]יום הבהיר ל"ג בעומר הילולא דרשב"י, ובטח ינצלו גם ימי חג השבועות זמן מתן תורתנו הבע"ל באופן המתאים ויה"ר שיהי' בהצלחה.
ולקראת חג השבועות הבע"ל, הנה כלשון הרב הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר יה"ר שנזכה כולנו בתכ"י לקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.
