Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received the reports of 27 Nissan*, 5, 14, and 15 Iyar* (see note 1). In the meantime, you have surely received my letter, which responded to the previous report. I await good news regarding what you write.

For some time, I have been corresponding with Mr. David Helman, a pharmacist, regarding the opening of a pharmacy at Kfar Chabad*. His letters seem to indicate that this is not impossible. It depends on details and details of details.

It would therefore be good for you to contact him and clarify all aspects of this project. This falls within the framework of the development and expansion of Kfar Chabad*.

With my blessing,

I am surprised and somewhat pained to see the name Shafrir (see note 2) appear in most of the press clippings that reached me and that continue to reach me now. I have stressed on numerous occasions that the name must be precisely Kfar Chabad*. I am astonished that you appear to take this lightly, whereas our Sages* emphasize the importance of a name. Indeed, one can establish this by observing that the newspapers mention precisely the other name (see note 3). You must understand what I mean.

This moment is certainly propitious for putting all of this into practice and for extending this name to the old village as well, or to speak of Kfar Chabad* Alef and Kfar Chabad* Beis.

מאשר הנני קבלת הפרטי-כל מימי כ"ז ניסן ה' י"ד וט"ו אייר, ובודאי במשך הזמן נתקבל מכתבי מענה על הפ"כ הקודם, ואחכה לבשו"ט בהענינים אודותם נכתב שם.

זה איזה זמן שהתכתבתי עם מר דוד שי' הלמן רוקח, בהנוגע לפתיחת מרקחת בכפר חב"ד, וכנראה ממכתביו אשר לא נפלאת היא. וכיון שתלוי הענין בפרטים ופרטי פרטים, מהנכון הי' שיתדברו עמו ויבררו כל הפרטים אשר בזה, והרי גם זה נכנס במסגרת התפשטות והתרחבות כפר חב"ד.

תמיהתי (מהולה בצער קצת) על אשר ברוב קטעי המכ"ע שנתקבלו ומתקבלים גם עתה נזכר בדוקא השם שפריר! והרי זה כו"כ עוררתי ע"ד נחיצות קביעות שם כחב"ד ובדוקא. ולפלא שכנראה ענין זה קל בעיניהם, בה בשעה שארז"ל שמא מילתא הוא.

ומוכח גם מיני' ובי', מזה שהמכ"ע כותבים בדוקא ההיפך. וד"ל. ובטח עתה שעת הכושר להביא בפועל גם את זה, ולכלול (בשם זה או: כחב"ד א' וב') גם הכפר הישן...
