To the Nshei* and Bnos* Chabad* Association in

the Holy Land, chapter of the holy city of Jerusalem,

may Hashem* grant you long life,

Blessings and greetings,

I received your letter of 30 Nissan*, which came after a long interruption. I also received news of you through Rebbetzin* Chava Gurary, may Hashem* grant her long life. In this letter, you inform me of a strengthening and broadening of your activities.

May Hashem* therefore grant that your next letters announce, with all the necessary detail, even more significant progress, in accordance with the needs of the moment. I am convinced that this progress will meet with success.

I took note, with particular pleasure, of the plan to create a youth center on a religious basis. In the current situation, this is one of the most important undertakings one can conceive. No doubt you will develop this point as well. I mean, quite simply, that you will establish additional centers and that you will expand the existing one.

Likewise, I would like to emphasize once again the great benefit that can be expected from the influence exerted by the members of the Nshei* and Bnos* Chabad* upon the mothers of students in the Chabad* schools (see note 1). This is, on the one hand, the means of strengthening the bond between these students and the education based on sacred values that they receive. On the other hand, this approach will also benefit the parents, from whom one can expect great changes that will be positive.

In a certain sense, these parents are already prepared for this, by the fact that their son or daughter attends a Chabad* school. With the appropriate effort and in consultation with the administration of these schools, you will surely be able to plan activities that will yield the best results.

It would be good to inform me, at least approximately, of what results from the creation of a youth center, in the manner that has been defined.

I enclose a copy of my letter addressed to all, whose content concerns you as well.

I send you my blessing on the occasion of the time of the giving of our Torah* (see note 2), which is approaching, and for broadening your activities with increased eagerness and renewed ardor, which the giving and receiving of the Torah* will again inspire in every Jewish man and every Jewish woman. Moreover, in one of their well-known teachings, our Sages* say: "Each day, they (see note 3) shall be as new in your eyes."

לאחרי ההפסק הארוך נתקבל מכתבן מל' ניסן, נוסף על הפ"ש ע"י הרבנית מרת חוה גורארי' שתליט"א, ויהי רצון שכשם שבמכתבן זה מבשרות אודות החזקת הפעולות והרחבתן, הרי במכתביהן הבאים יודיעו ובפרטיות הדרושה אודות הרחבת הפעולות עוד יותר מתאים לדרישת השעה, שבטוחני שתהיינה גם כן בהצלחה, וביחוד נעם לי לקרות אודות הרעיון דיסוד מועדון בתוכן דתי בשביל הנוער, שלפי המצב זהו אחד הענינים היותר נחוצים, ובודאי גם נקודה זו ירחיבוה, וכוונתי כפשוטה, ביסוד עוד מועדונים ובהרחבת המועדון שיסדו כבר.

כן ברצוני להדגיש כאן עוד הפעם, על דבר התועלת הכי גדולה הנשקפת מהשפעת החבירות דנשי ובנות חב"ד על האמהות דתלמידים-ות הלומדים במוסדות חינוך חב"ד, כי מלבד שעל ידי זה מחזקים את הקשרים בין התלמידים-ות והחינוך על טהרת הקדש שמקבלים, הנה גם בהנוגע לההורים עצמם, יש לקוות לשינוים גדולים וטובים, כיון שכבר מוכשרים במקצת על כל פנים על ידי העובדא שבנם או בתם מבקרים במוסד חינוך של חב"ד, ועל ידי התאמצות הדרושה והתייעצות עם הנהלת המוסדות, בטח תוכלנה לתכנן פעולותיהן שיביאו לתוצאות הכי גדולות וטובות.

מהנכון שיודיעו עכ"פ השערה אודות הוצאות הכרוכות ביסוד מועדון על דרך האמור.
