To Mr. Avigdor (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

I was pained to learn, through the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem* and devotes himself to communal needs, who possesses good conduct and multiplies positive accomplishments, Rav* Meir Blizinski, that you are experiencing health problems.

I will mention your name, at an auspicious moment, at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us. When he was physically alive in this world, he was the shepherd of Israel, filled with love for each individual (see note 2).

My father-in-law, the Rebbe*, would quote the following saying in the name of the Baal Shem Tov*: One must love equally a Jew who is at the other end of the world and whom one has never seen. How much more so is this the case for one to whom Divine Providence has granted the ability to exert influence upon his close surroundings and even those farther away. For every improvement in his situation, physical or moral, is an improvement as well for all those who follow him. And in this way, it is multiplied by that many people.

One can also deduce from this the merit of such a person and his responsibility. His slightest movement is multiplied tenfold through the consequences it has upon his surroundings, his students, and those who follow him. I therefore have good hope that upon receiving this letter, you will be feeling better, in the most literal sense.

Hashem*, Who searches hearts, knows whether you have made the decision to change the matters we discussed when you were here and to which I also alluded in my letter. This will intensify the blessing of "He Who heals all flesh" (see note 3). In this way, you will have a speedy recovery.

Awaiting your good news, I conclude by wishing you good health, physical and spiritual.

בצער קבלתי הידיעה ע"י הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ בעל מדות ורב פעלים מו"ה מאיר שי' בליזינסקי אודות מצב בריאותו של כבודו ובעת רצון אזכירו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אשר בחיים חיותו בעלמא דין עבד עבודתו בתור רועה ישראל חדורה אהבת ישראל לכל אחד ואחד ועל פי פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בשם הבעש"ט שענין אהבת ישראל הוא אפילו לאיש הישראלי הנמצא בקצה תבל שמעולם לא ראהו, עאכו"כ לאיש אשר השגחה העליונה חוננה אותו בכח השפעה בסביבתו הקרובה ואפילו הרחוקה שכל הטבה במצבו הן הגשמי והן הרוחני גורמת ומביאה הטבה בכלל בכל אלו המושפעים ממנו, היינו שנכפלת כ"פ ככה, ומזה מובן ג"כ גודל הזכות של אדם זה ואחריותו בהביא בחשבון אשר זיז שלו אפילו קל מתגדל כ"פ ככה ע"י התוצאות של זיז זה בסביבתו תלמידיו ומושפעיו, ולכן תקותי חזקה אשר לעת קבלת מכתבי זה כבר הוטב מצב בריאותו כפשוטו וד' הרואה ללבב מכיר ג"כ ההחלטה לשינוי באותם הענינים אודותם שוחחנו בביקורו כאן וגם רמזתי עליהם במכתבי לכ', וזה עוד יוסיף בברכת רופא כל בשר ותהי' רפואתו רפו"ק.
