Greetings and blessings,
You have informed me that you purchased a house (see note 1), and I send you my response.
May Hashem* grant that this be at a good and fruitful time, both materially and spiritually.
Chassidus* defines the concept of acquisition and specifies that it is understood, in its fullest sense, in the spiritual world of Atzilus*, where "He is one with His Lights, He is one with His Vessels" (see note 2). And it is precisely by virtue of this that one can spiritually acquire a house here below.
May Hashem* grant that this be a spiritual acquisition, as explained in the Chassidic* discourses entitled "A song, a psalm for the inauguration of the house," in the Likkutei Torah* and in the Siddur* (see note 3). A similar explanation is found, in particular, at the end of the series of discourses entitled "Many Waters."
This will be reflected also in the purchase of your house in the literal sense. It will be a happy house in every domain.
May Hashem* grant you the ability to announce good news to me soon — that you have also found a good match for your daughter and that she, in turn, is building a Jewish home.

במענה על הודעתו מקנין הבית.
הנה יה"ר שיהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד, היינו שיהי' קנין בית (וכמבואר בדא"ח ענין הקנין, שדוקא בעולם האצי' נקרא קנין מפני דאיהו וחיוהי וגרמוהי חד, ועי"ז קונים בית) ברוחניות כמבואר בדרושי מזמור שיר חנוכת הבית בלקו"ת ובסידור, ועד"ז בסופו של המשך מים רבים ועוד. שבד"מ ישתלשל ג"כ בקנין הבית כפשוטו, בית מאושר בכל הפרטים.
ויהי רצון שיוכל לבשר טוב בקרוב גם ע"ד שידוך מתאים ובנין בית בישראל של בתו מרת... תחי'.
