I received your letter and have sent the Tanya* summaries and commentaries by the Tzemach Tzedek;*[1] the 19 Kislev fascicle is also enclosed. In response to your earlier question: Chassidut* does speak of the 8th of the 13 divine Attributes of Mercy* as 'Venotzer'[2] — 'He preserves kindness' — which forms an anagram of Tzinor* (channel) and Ratzon* (will). Two notes: (1) it is written Notzer without a Vav;* (2) the verse (Exodus 34:7) says Notzer, not Venotzer.[3] The end of this letter is the same as letter 222; see also letters 219 and 408.
