Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter from the eve of Pesach*, as well as the preceding one. I was very pleased by what you told me about the distribution of Matzos*, which took place both at the school and at the kindergarten. I have already written on this subject to the Chassidim* of various countries, in order to emphasize that regardless of the function one holds, one must consider that one has the obligation and the merit to act in everything pertaining to Judaism in the place where one finds oneself.

Such activity is, in itself, very important. Furthermore, it is beneficial for each person's function. This is particularly the case for the schools of the network (see note 2). In this way, one can attract and draw closer the parents, in addition to the students themselves, who will therefore redouble their ardor in their studies.

In accordance with the letter I sent you, you have surely begun the preparations to establish the program for a summer camp. As I said, it is good, for various reasons, that this take place at Kfar Chabad*. By preparing in time and with the goodwill of all, one will be able to achieve success in various areas.

You will surely share joyful news about how you made use of the festival of Pesach*, the time of our freedom, in your communal activities as well as in your personal concerns.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מערב חג הפסח והקודם לו ונהניתי במאד ממה שכותב אודות חלוקת המצה שמורה ושהי' זה בביה"ס ובגן הילדים, וכבר כתבתי לאנ"ש במדינות שונות בכגון דא אשר איך שיהי' המקצוע המיוחד שבו עוסקים, עליהם להביט על עצמם שמחוייבים וזכוים להשתדל בכל עניני היהדות של המקום, ומלבד גודל נחיצות הענין מצד עצמו, בודאי שיביא זה גם תועלת בהמקצוע המיוחד שלהם, ובפרט בהנוגע לבתי ספר הרשת שעי"ז ממשיכים ומקרבים גם ההורים, נוסף על התלמידים-ות לביה"ס ובמילא מוסיף בהוקרה מצדם להתמדה בלימודיהם וכו'.

בודאי מתאים למכתבי מאז התחילו כבר בהכנות תכנית לקייטנא בקיץ הבע"ל, וכאמור מכמה טעמים נכון שיהי' זה בכפר חב"ד. וע"י הכנות בעוד מועד ובצירוף רצונם הטוב של כולם יחד, יכול הדבר להביא הצלחה מרובה לכו"כ ענינים, וכאמור.

בודאי יודיע בשורות משמחות בהנוגע לניצול זמן חה"פ זמן חירותנו בענינים הכללים ובענינים הפרטים...
