Greetings and blessings,

I was pained to read your letter. You describe, indeed, the change that has occurred in the education of these young women (see note 1). And my pain is twofold — on account of the change you mention in your letter, and above all because one does not know the reason for it, nor how to remedy it.

You know the teaching (see note 2) of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, regarding Pesach Sheini*, according to which "it is never too late." May Hashem* therefore grant that at least now, in the expression commonly used by our master, "one devotes oneself to the education of young women in sacred values" — with everyone united, coordinating their efforts for the purpose of fulfilling the Will of our Father Who is in Heaven: to educate young women who will be faithful to Hashem*, to His Torah*, the Torah of life, and to His Mitzvos*, without compromise.

It is self-evident that this education will bring them true happiness, not only in the World to Come, but also in this world — the world of action. This happiness will be spiritual and material at once. For the time being, this depends on the parents, who have the full capacity to remedy this situation in the best possible manner. Everything is given over to their will.

בצער קראתי מכתבו בו כותב אודות... תחיינה והשינוי שניכר בחינוכן. וצערי כפול, הן על השינוי אותו מתאר במכתבו ועוד יותר שאין מכירים בסיבתו, ותיקונו...

והנה כבר נודע פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אשר המוסר השכל מפסח שני הוא "אז מען האט נאך ניט פארשפעטיגט". ויה"ר שעכ"פ עתה, הרי כלשון המורגל בפי הרב, זאל מען זיך אריינווארפען בענין חינוך הבנות על טהרת הקדש, בדיעה אחת ובהתאמת הפעולות ובתכלית למלאות רצון אבינו שבשמים, לחנך הבנות שתהיינה נאמנות לד' ולתורתו תורת חיים ולמצותי' מבלי פשרות, אשר מובן ופשוט שחינוך זה יביא להן האושר האמיתי לא רק בנוגע לעולם הבא אלא עוד יותר בעולמנו עולם הזה המעשה, אושר בענינים רוחנים ואושר בענינים גשמים, ולע"ע הדבר תלוי בההורים... כי יש להם היכולת המלאה לסדר כל האמור באופן הכי טוב ואין הדבר תלוי אלא ברצונם...
