Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your question, posed some time ago, concerning the location where the wedding and the celebration that follows it should take place, in a good and fruitful moment.

In my opinion, it should be done in a suitable location. Thus, the ceremony and the meal that follows will take place in a location that is in the center of the city (see note 2). Indeed, one should not do as some do, who transport the bride and groom and the guests from one place to another.

May Hashem* grant that they build an everlasting edifice, based on the Torah* and the Mitzvos*, as they are illuminated by the luminary of the Torah*, which is the teaching of Chassidus*.

הנה לדעתי כדאי שיעשו את זה במקום המתאים, היינו שתהי' החופה וגם סעודת שבע ברכות שבסמיכות לה במקום אחד במרכז העיר, ודלא כמו שנהגו אחדים לטלטל החו"כ והקרואים למקום אחד ומשנהו, וכו'. ויה"ר שיהי' בנינם בנין עדי עד על יסודי התורה והמצוה כפי שהם מוארים במאור שבתורה זוהי תורת החסידות.
