I greet you and bless you,

I received with pleasure your letter of 4 Nissan, as well as the one preceding it. Thank Hashem*, you celebrated the wedding of your son, to whom Hashem* will grant long life, in the proper manner. The wedding is the cornerstone and the beginning of the Jewish home that the young couple builds, as the text of the blessing instituted by the Men of the Great Assembly indicates: "an everlasting edifice," which will be filled with joy, according to the conclusion of that same blessing.

You and your wife will derive from them and from all your children much true satisfaction — Jewish and Chassidic* satisfaction.

I read with satisfaction in your letter that you are increasing the number of your acquaintances among people who come from Chassidic* families. Recently, you met someone who has a brother in the Holy Land, and please extend my greetings to them as well. You should remind them that the entire Torah* is truth, which is also the case for the statement of our Sages that "when one shoots an arrow into the air, it falls back on its point." They must therefore awaken the Chabad* roots that they carry within them.

How much more so is this the case in the present era, when the arrow has been launched into the air far beyond its usual altitude. Everything therefore depends on the one who has undergone this movement and who, for his part, must contribute his effort to reconnect with the point. Now, action is what matters, not theory.

With my blessing to convey good tidings of all this, for a kosher* and joyous Pesach*, for you and for your entire family,

בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מד' ניסן והקודם לו, ות"ל אשר חגג שמחת נשואי בנו שליט"א באופן המתאים, וכיון שהחתונה היא הנחת היסוד והתחלת בנין בישראל של הזוג הצעיר שנקבעה ברכה בלשון הברכה מתקנת אנשי כנסת הגדולה, בנין עדי עד ויהי' זה מתוך שמחה וכסיום הברכות וחתימתן, והוא וזוגתו שיחיו ירוו מהם ומכל יו"ח שי' רוב נחת אמיתי, הוא נחת יהודי חסידותי.

...נעם לי לקרות במכתבו אשר מרחיב ההיכרות שלו עם יוצאי גזע אנ"ש ובזמן האחרון עם מר... שי' ואשר יש לו גם אח באה"ק ת"ו ושמו... שי', ומטובו לפרוש שלומם גם בשמי, ולעוררם אשר בודאי ככל התורה שאמת היא ג"כ הוא מרז"ל, זרוק חוטרא אאוירא אעיקרי' קאי, אשר יתעורר בהם הגזע צור חוצבו ממנו הוא גזע חב"ד, ובפרט בזמננו זה אשר כאמור היתה בו ענין הזריקה למעלה מן הרגיל ביותר וביותר, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא בהנזרק שיסייע גם הוא מצדו להתקשרות עם עיקרו, ואל המדרש עיקר אלא המעשה.

בברכה לבשר טוב בכל האמור לעיל ולחג פסח כשר ושמח לו ולכל המשפחה.
