I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of Shushan Purim*. I read with pleasure that you have been able to witness Hashem's* blessing in your business affairs until now. No doubt Hashem* will continue to grant you His blessing, especially since a fruitful month has just concluded, during which "it was reversed and the Jews prevailed..." And then we entered the month of Nissan, when, according to the expression of our Sages in Tractate Berachos 57, "miracles of miracles were performed for him."

And all of this is revealed concretely, for that is precisely the characteristic of the miracle of Purim*, which is connected to the body, as various texts of Chassidus* explain, based on the Levush, cited by the Turei Zahav, Chapter 670.

The same applies to Pesach*, since the enslavement was then physical, "with mortar and bricks," as the Midrashim* say on Parshas* Shemos, and as the Torah Or* and Toras Chaim* explain.

May Hashem* grant that your success continue in the future on a considerable scale, and that you be able to fulfill the desires of your heart regarding the mitzvah* of tzedakah* and in other domains as well.

במענה על מכתבו משושן פורים, ושמחתי לקרות בו אשר ראו ברכת השי"ת במוחש בהעסק שלהם עד עתה, ובודאי ימשיך השי"ת ברכתו, ובפרט שזה עתה באנו מחדש אשר היתה ההצלחה כי נהפוך הוא אשר ישלטו היהודים וגו' ונכנסו בחדש ניסן אשר ע"פ מאמר רז"ל (ברכות נז) נסי נסים נעשו בו, ונמשך ג"כ למטה מעשרה טפחים, כי הרי זהו הענין דנס פורים שקשור בעניני הגוף, וכמבואר בכ"מ בחסידות ע"פ מ"ש בלבוש הובא בטו"ז סי' תר"ע ועד"ז גם בעניני חג הפסח שהשעבוד בזמן ההוא הי' שעבוד הגוף, בחומר ובלבנים כו' וכמובא ג"כ מדרושים דפ' שמות, תורה אור ותורת חיים וכו'.

ויה"ר שתהי' ההצלחה גם לעתיד בהפלגה ויוכל למלאות משאלות לבבו לטובה במצות הצדקה ובשאר הענינים...
