The Beis Rebbe* (on the subject of the Alter Rebbe*; see letter no. 3879) is already at the printer. However, it has not yet been typeset, and for the time being, I have not been able to proofread the galleys as they should be, due to lack of time. Additions are therefore still possible, including in the middle of the work. On the other hand, there is no reason to improve the text that has already been finalized.

It is particularly wise to translate the talks into Hebrew (from Yiddish) and to publish them in the same format as the Likkutei Dibburim* or the Sefer HaSichos*. If there is no alternative, the cost of this publication will be covered by Kehot* Publications. Likewise, it would be good to organize, at least partially, the writings of the Tzemach Tzedek*.

No doubt you will send here a recording, if one exists, of the radio broadcast describing Purim* at Kfar Chabad*. You will do the same on future occasions. The expenses will be covered by Kehot* Publications.

One should give E. S. (presumably Eliezer Steinman; see letter no. 4134) the Kehot* books he requests and explain to him that one does the same with several authors who send their works to the library here. This is especially the case in this instance, since it will result in benefit for the many (through the publication of the content of these books).

When you negotiate the Friedberg manuscript and its shipment here, you should also include the other manuscripts and not only the books.

...בית רבי דאדמוה"ז כבר נסדר בדפוס אבל לע"ע לא בעמודים וגם קודם שהגהתיו מפני חוסר הפנאי הדרוש, ולכן יש מקום להוספות (אפי' באמצע) אבל לא לשכלול הלשון שכבר נסדר וכיו"ב.

ועתקת שיחות ללה"ק נכון במאד, ובמטרה להו"ל בדפוס אם בפורמט לקו"ד או ס' השיחות. הוצאות ההו"ל אם א"א אחרת ע"ח קה"ת. כן נכון גם סידור חלק הצ"צ וכו'.

אם אפשר להשיג בטח ישלחו לכאן הקלטת השידור ברדיו ע"ד פורים בכפר חב"ד ולנהוג בכגון דא גם להבא (ההוצאות שבזה ע"ח קה"ת).

למר א. ש. שי' יש לתת ס' קה"ת שיבקש ויסבירו שמחליפים עד"ז עם כמה מחברים השולחים ס' להספרי' דכאן ובפרט בנדו"ד שישנה בזה גם תועלת הרבים וכו'.

בטח כשידבר ע"ד ס' פרידברג - שילוחם לכאן - יכלול גם שאר ס', ולא רק ב"ע ספרים.
