I greet you and bless you,

I received news of you with pleasure, through your brother, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*, devotes himself to communal needs, and faithfully carries out his mission, Rav Yaakov Katz (of Chicago).

The festival of Pesach* is approaching and, on this occasion, I express my wish that it be kosher* and joyous, for you and for your family.

I enclose the text of a talk (see letter no. 3386) explaining that it is proper to distribute matzah shmurah* in one's surroundings. Now, I do not know whether you can find any near your home. Some are therefore being sent to you in a separate shipment.

May Hashem* assist you in distributing this matzah shmurah* and in instilling faith and strengthening Jewish values. Indeed, matzah* is the food that heals Jews and strengthens their faith.
