To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*,

Rav Yitzchak (Rav I. Toledano, of Kfar Saba),

I greet you and bless you,

I received with pleasure the letter in which you describe the Chassidic* farbrengen* of the day of the liberation of the Alter Rebbe* (19 Kislev), author of the Tanya* and the Shulchan Aruch*, which is also our liberation and the redemption of our soul. You informed me of the words of encouragement that were spoken on that occasion.

Likewise, I was pleased to learn from your letter that a shul* has been opened for new immigrants and that you serve as the chazzan*. In addition to the Torah* class given there, it would be good to establish a study of Chassidus*, through which the words of our Sages will be fulfilled, that "great is study which leads to action." One should therefore adopt the customs and practices that flow from this teaching — namely, Chassidic* customs.

You had the merit of being a student of Yeshivas* Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak, in Morocco, in the city of Meknes. This merit will therefore protect you, so that you will be the promoter and initiator of this class in that shul*. There are no words to explain how important this is. Without a doubt, this will also enable you to more easily secure your livelihood and that of your entire family.

נעם לי לקבל מכתבו בו כותב אודות ההתועדות דחג הגאולה של רבנו הזקן בעל התניא והשולחן ערוך שהוא גם גאולתנו ופדות נפשנו ומדברי ההתעוררות שנשמעו במסיבה זו, כן נעם לי להוודע ממכתבו אודות פתיחת בית הכנסת בשביל העולים החדשים ואשר הוא השליח צבור, ומהנכון הי' שנוסף על השיעור שנלמד שם, יהי' גם כן שיעור בתורת החסידות ויקוים בזה מאמר רז"ל גדול תלמוד שמביא לידי מעשה הליכה בהדרכותי' של תורה זו ומנהגי', וכיון שזכה להיות בישיבת אהלי יוסף יצחק אשר במרוקה בעיר מכנז, תעמוד לו הזכות הזה להיות גם כן המעורר ומשתדל ביסוד שיעור זה בבית הכנסת האמור, וגודל הדבר אין די באר וביחוד שבודאי ישפיע זה גם כן על הטבת מצב פרנסתו ופרנסת כל המשפחה בגשמיות.
