Igrot Kodesh · Letter 417 — Follow-Up on Chassidic Discourse Receipt and Distribution

To the great Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav Y.[1],

I greet and bless you,

I recall that I was the last to write, since you did not reply to my last letter and did not confirm that you received the chassidic discourse of the Rebbe[2] entitled 'In his dream he saw a ladder,' which appears in fascicle 52 and which I sent to you[3].

I saw in the press that you participated in the rabbinical conference and proposed a formula for Heter Iska*[4]. I was glad to hear this.

I am now sending you the Kuntres He'chaltz'u* 5659[5], which has just been published. You will no doubt confirm that you received it.

On this occasion, I remind you that some time ago you promised to send me a copy of the conclusion of the letter of the Rebbe[2] concerning the use of the Holy Tongue*[6]. You sent me the beginning last year[7].

Likewise, you promised me a copy — insofar as possible — of the letters[8] containing teachings that you might possess. I thank you in advance.

I wish you all the best and greet the members of your family, though I do not know them,
